The Little Dipper is a slightly smaller version of the popular "Camano" design, with the smaller size blades pull effortlessly through each stroke, for less fatigue in smaller paddlers. Built with stiffer, lighter swing weight blades, you’ll feel more propulsion without tiring yourself out. The Little Dipper is the smart choice the low-angle paddler wanting a blade to match their stature.
The 2 piece model features a ferule that allows you to adjust the angle of feather in 15° increments, allowing you to change the profile as the sea and wind conditions change.
This is a great option for small to medium sized paddlers looking for an efficient blade for use with touring, day touring, and performance rec kayaks. SHAFT SIZE NOTE - since the Little Dipper is most popular with small to medium sized paddlers, almost everyone who'd find this the best fit will also prefer the Small shaft option. Unless you have relatively large hands (more than 4.5" from the base of the palm to the base of your middle finger), we'd recommend choosing "Small" as your shaft size.
